These are Aftermarket O rings, and as such don't have the correct inner tapered surface that acts as a scraper on the selector shaft. It does the job to a degree, but will not seal the selector shafts 100%. Alternatively use FRC6468 (Land Rover's upgrade), which is a circular section O ring, supposed to be fitted with a Nylon Washer (FRC6938) to prevent the O ring from floating, this washer is hard to find, so we recommend doubling up on the O ring.
